I've just swapped my Michelin tyres over from my 893's to the Apex and found out that my tyres are not runflats? I was led to believe they all came with run flat tyres, is this right do the perfomance package wheels come with normal tyres?

Ooops. Were they star marked runflats out of interest? I've no objections to runflats despite what the internet says so would be open to swapping come the time.

“Run flats” and “performance”. Not usually used together.

The tin of gunk and compressor in the boot should have been a clue.

With xdrive I’d try to stick with star marked tyres and the BMw recommended brand /size speed rating.

I think it was subconcious thinking as everyone is hating on runflats saying they want to swap them, that my mind was made up without ever really thinking about it logically.

Right so i have to put two tyres on ebay now

ok ive decided im keeping the 255 runflats as spares for my 898m wheels and buying 2 new 255 non runflat for the apex.

Now im selling the 2x 245/35 oem nearly new tyres as i cant use them, what do perfect tyres go for? only done 2-300 miles on them
