I hope I can get it before Feb,2024
When you say "production begins", is that when you were told it was in the production queue? Or does that mean something else?

I was just told my vehicle is in the production queue today, so I was hoping to sort of track your timing with mine since it seems at least fairly close.

The "Production Begins" is from BMW online tracking web. You can use your production number to locate you car status.

Btw, I just checked again the status is on "Final assembly". This is a big change since yesterday.

Nice!

Yeah, mine just says "production begins" and below that, it says that the vehicle is in the production queue.

I'll just wait until there is a different update! And I'll still be using your timeline as a rough guide as to what to expect, seeing as to how I'm about 2 weeks behind!

I'm in the Austin area, so it helps to see yours tracking to a location nearby.

Your allocation was super quick so your timeline is already ahead of schedule. Once you get to ready for transit after the final assembly, then you just gotta wait for it to get to port and then you are at the mercy of shipping logistics. 2-4 weeks hopefully from the time you switch to ready for transit you'll catch a boat scheduled in that time. Then depending on your location your boat route will vary, delivered to port, then any port installed options at vpc, then trucked to your dealership. Another 2-4 weeks. All that said barring any big delays Feb should be realistic.

Yes, the dealer told me the ETA should be in the middle or before the end of Jan,2024. If I can pick up before Feb, that would be faster than what I knew some people take more than 3 months.

My build is now pushed to week 7 -- I doubt I'll see it before spring.

Does "at the port" mean the port of Veracruz prior to being put on the ship? Or does that mean it has reached the port of destination in the US prior to transit to the dealer?

To be honest, I'm not very sure. As dealer states that if we can see the status of At the Port which means you will receive car within 10-20 days but it depends on your location.

Yes! Actually, I shocked the timing was faster then what I thought about 8-10 weeks. Looks like only taking 6-7weeks.
