BMW X5 Skyscraper Grey - Should I Stealth PPF it?
Hello everyone,
First post on here and more to come. •I just picked up my brand new 2024 X5 in Skyscraper Grey. Ceramic tints are done (shown in last picture) as of the other day. I am debating doing a few cosmetic modifications, Stealth PPF at the top of my list. I like that it makes it that “frozen paint” look without half the headaches (atleast from what I’ve read the ppf is less maintenance) Has anyone done this to their Skyscraper Grey X5 yet? I’ve seen them on X3 or and M4s, I’m curious to see how it looks on the X5, especially with the 22 inch black wheels. Also curious to see if anyone has any thoughts against it on this color, other recommendations, or any bad experience with PPF in general. • Also curious about wrapping some of the trim carbon fiber (mirrors and rear difussor) I’ve heard people say the wrapped carbon fiber looks cheap and will just dull out from the sun (I live in Florida)- thoughts on this? Not opposed to getting the real thing but if anyone has experience with it that would be great to hear it. Appreciate everyone’s feedback in advanced. Will be posting the build on here as I progress! |

I have clear PPF on the front of all of my BMWs.
