Howzit M2 family. The rear license plate bracket for the M2 really sucks. I always like to remove my license plate when I detail my car but I've found out that the holes wear out easy on the bracket when I reinstall the license plate. Is there a better bracket out there that has the actual metal threading when you mount your license plate? Cannot believe BMW cannot provide a better one for a $70k car.

Will this one from ECS Tuning fit on our cars? At least this one has the nice metal threading for the screws.

Does the RE show when you put the plate on? Thanks.

No. The license plate is larger than the entire bracket and you can’t see the bracket at all once the plate is on.

Thank you Texas. I'm definitely going to check this one out. I also found this one below on Amazon some of the BMW guys bought and said that will fit the G8x platform. Will let you guys know which one I went with.

Just installed the one I got from Amazon and it's perfect. So much better quality than the one that came with the car. If you like to always take your license plate on and off for detailing, this is a must do mod!
