Drivetrain Malfunction Error??

Hey guys just wondering if anyone can chime in here for some insight, also please let me know if this isn’t in the right section!

During a couple of track sessions I’ve noticed twice the drivetrain malfunction would come on when I had the car at about 160kmh in sport plus and floored it to about 200kmh where it drivetrain malfunctioned me then it would just clear up after 50-60kms like nothing happened. I’m thinking could be because I’m Catless + straight piped with no tune maybe over boosting throwing the car in a temp limp?? Not sure what it is tho if anyone can help I’d appreciate it greatly!!

Thanks guys!

I had the same thing happen to me. It cleared up after a few minutes and there were no stored codes. No idea.

Damn it, I’ve been seeing a mix of crankshaft sensor and Fuel pump overreacting, not sure hopefully we can figure this one out cuz man it’s annoying :/

Ok, I have a theory. I just went for a test drive and was able to get the error to repeat and it would clear after a restart. I was in track mode with DCS off and the valves closed on my aftermarket exhaust. A few moments after I would floor it I could hear the engine struggling and then it would give the error and cut the power for a moment. I suspect that it sensed the higher-than-expected backpressure and threw the error to prevent damage. I would then reset it, open the aftermarket exhaust valves, put it in track mode, and floor it and there were no problems. I am hitting the track tomorrow and will post if I see it happen again.

I have found this to be true for me as well, also if you keep the valves closed on my aftermarket exhaust while driving the shit out of it, I can get an emissions CEL to Templary show.
Just keep your valves open when driving it hard and you shouldn't have a problem.

That sounds like a good reason for you guys, because you guys have a valved system which probably is the case, but me, I’m straight piped no muffler which means no valves and Catless downpipe, I think I’m just overboosting causing my drivetrain to panic since there’s no tune to accommodate it. I guess my only answer is FEMTO😂😂
