Ebay rear lip? Yes or No

Got this one for $149 shipped from ebay. The quality seems very good. The design is somewhat different from other brands I have seen. If you see the base of the spoiler, it has the same landing on the trunk as the OEM one. Other brands have a wider base.

I think I like this one better. What do you guys think for the price?

I like the look, quality seems good too! Looks like it sits fairly high on the trunk rather than the rear edge, intentional?

The gap to the rear of the trunk would bother me, but the visual quality looks pretty good.

I assumed the OP just sat it on the trunk to get a visual because it's definitely not in the correct position.

*edit, if that is the position, I think it curves too far forward at the ends. I'm more a fan of this style.

Its a hard pass. Its just flat/one dimensional. It is alao sitting too far back for me (yes, I know the oem sits there but that positioning is off putting to me, too) as is the one on the white car above.

This is where it should be mounted, IMO.

Definitely cannot wrong with the price and quality seems ok. It would be a negative for me since it sits way too forward from the edge. I went with the Auto ID one.

It just looks like you put it on in the wrong spot. Unless I'm missing something, it appears it could've been placed at the edge of the trunk?

The edge of the trunk is slanting, and the width of the spoiler (in the middle) is wider than the slanting edge

Without it in my hands I cant confirm but some manufacturers have made them to be on the out edge/lip of the trunk (like the TRE-01) and some have been designed to fit in the same area as the oem version. Like anything else, no right or wrong, just a preference on what you like.

I have the same rear lip, and can confirm that it is sitting where it's supposed to sit. It looks pretty aggressive in person.

On my phone, I couldn't tell. But on the computer, I see what you mean with the base of the spoiler & not being able to go back further.

60 Euro Aliexpress special in gloss black. Pretty happy with the results, since I don't have any carbon anywhere else on the car.
