Bass! Advice Please...
I know it's personal preference so it's very hard to comment on however I need to know what you all think about 1, 12" sub or 2, 12"s. For reference, I previously had a JBL BASSPRO12 but was in a hatchback so there was no interference. I'm getting ready to get a sub installed but need to know if I should stick to 1 or go for 2, 12" since they'll be in the trunk. I like a lot of bass but at the same time, don't need people down the street to hear it when all my doors are shut and windows are up. Are 2, 12"s complete overkill? (The place I was going to go to were suggesting Sundown speakers/amps).

I finally had a chance to install the subwoofer. Certainly made a huge difference in the bass. I had to turn down the bass setting in idrive past the midway point.
Also, the technicpnp adapter and LOC made the install a breeze. Plus the battery in the trunk helps a lot. But, if you like the ASD feature this might not be the mod for you. At idle with no music playing and with “m sound” ON the sub was rumbling pretty loud. A little too much for my liking. So I just coded the ASD off, but haven’t had a chance to drive it yet. Hopefully this cleans up the sound.
