OEM Jet Black wheels changing color after drive?

Hi yall just wondering if you guys are noticing this defect (or feature) of the factory jet black wheels. After a good wash and drive, I notice that my wheels change texture and color from a glass black to an almost matte bronze. Any thoughts?

This has to be a joke post. Obviously it's brake dust. Change the pads to low dust pads or be prepared to clean your wheels every day.

A young man walks into a doctor’s office with an orange penis…
He says, “Doc, you gotta help me, my penis is bright orange and I’m afraid of the worst.”

The doctor examines the penis and it is, indeed, bright orange but the doctor can’t make a diagnosis. He spends the next several hours running every relevant test that he can think of.

At the end of this testing ordeal, the doctor is still stymied. He confronts the young man and says, “Son, I’ve run every test I can think of and all of them indicate that you are healthy as a horse. There must be something we are missing.”

The doctor sits down and says, “Perhaps , it’s not genetic and has to do with your lifestyle. Tell me, do you engage in any dangerous activities.”

“That’s just it, Doc,” says the young man, “I don’t really do anything exciting. Mostly, I just sit at home, watch porn and eat cheese puffs.”

Try the same "good wash and drive" process without the drive part, and they'll stay black

It’s a horrible issue on this generation, mine got it really bad. I'm in talks with BMW HQ to get the car returned and fully refunded and ordering a GT3RS. This is just unacceptable…

I love it when people state their purchase was between a G87 and a GT3RS (or equivalent). What a joke...

Oh, and you think you will get that GT3RS in 6-8 months?

I just got my 1200 mile break-in service completed over the weekend, the SA said they unlocked the full power of the S58 engine and that the “Space Dust Obsidian” wheel color is a feature of the updated HP/torque peaks.

This is nothing, to all of the F87C owners, the G87 wheels are clean as a whistle.
The old car had 400 mm front and 380 mm rear brakes, if you think the G87 has dusty wheels, the F87C (N. American or if you had the NVH pack or whatever the hell it's called outside of Bald Eagle Country) was 10 times worse. Like, legit, I would detail the car and move it five feet and a dust plume would come out of those brakes and the wheels, the wheels are substantially harder to clean. They looked great though.
