Exhaust valve controller

Has anyone been able to use the factory button and harness to control a valvetronic exhaust valve?

Not sure about the valvetronic but the OEM valves can be controlled with the exhaust button with the Awron CANflap device. EAS

It will only work with factory valves not with valvetronic valves

I am running the Dahler controller on my car and really like it. The install takes about 10min and works very well. I will have a DIY up for it shortly!

Does it use the factory buttons? And more importantly does it open the valve 100% when using these buttons?

For example, SST can use the OEM buttons; you just need to set it to the stock setting which I believe is button C. But as far as I know, when setting stock settings, it will mimic stop features, which means the valves are not opening at 100% (I could be wrong btw on both controllers (Dahler and SST), I just have not seen either manufacturer make the claim otherwise)

The dahler does fully open, and also has memory settings to always open, always close, remember last mode etc. It also comes with its own remote, or you can program your mirror buttons to do the same.

Yep, I understand that; these are standard features. Im talking about when you use M1/M2 buttons. Did you check if it fully opens then, or does it return to the 70% stock?

Also, if other users have different controllers, it is worth checking as it does not seem like we have a definitive answer to this
