Catless Downpipe and O2 Spacer combo

Hey all,

I know this has been discussed a bit already but curious if anyone has a specific combo of a catless downpipe and o2 spacer that they used on their setup that hasn't thrown a CEL in the long run.

Would love to hear what DPs and spacers they used and any install pics/instructions if anyone has any

Be better looking in the b58 section of the g20 forums or any of the other more established platforms with b58s in them. Imo the sound is so much better from catted vs catless that any gain from catless which isn't much anymore isn't worth it

Good points. Main thing is $1400 for the AA catted DP is a bit too much for me hahaha

I agree its a pretty steep price for a downpipe, just have to check around holiday sales or even the forums for a second hand downpipe. Aside from remote start not working I don't think the cel from a catless does much else. Could always do what we used to do back in the day just put some tape over the light boom gone

Also doesn't flow nearly as well as a catless or even a 200 cell would.

From what i've seen these new b58's have a very sensitive secondary o2 profile. Much more then the s58s for some reason.

Catless and Bdg did not work so well but a 200 cell and a bdg may work.

Not me personally but a few b58ers have done comparisons between gesi cat vs no cat.

Here is one of the best examples with a few more out there.

https://www.supramkv.com/threads/cat...to-share.6116/

CAT VS CAT

It's not an apples to apples comparison by any means because we cannot prevent a Cel and they can however it's no surprise our 200 cell will flow better than the gesi its got less cells and less restriction.

Sort of upset with myself for not waiting but I wish I would have dyno'd the car before the AA downpipe and then after. Tuning obviously really unlocks the dp but I would be curious to the difference without a tune. Peronsally a CEL isn't a big deal to me we just have vehicle inspections here.
