System has not updated to show break-in service was done
I had the break-in service done in mid-December. Neither my M2 nor the MyBMW app have updated to show the service was done. Both still say break-in service due in 1199 miles.
I reached out to BMW Genius who directed me to BMW Assist Services. They said they see a provisioning issue on the back end and recommended I do an "Update Services" in my car (twice) to refresh the connection. It didn't work. Has anyone had the same issue? Any recommendations on how to resolve without taking it to a dealer? Thanks |

Yes mine was the same and so are many owners on here. It seemed about a 50/50 ratio to those who showed the running-in service and those it didn’t. My BMW dealer said that the running-in service doesn’t show on these cars and it’s only the main services going forward which do. I think this is wrong but can’t be bothered with another trip to the dealer. It’s on the BMW portal which is where it matters.

takeit to the dealer, they can write the services again .. should take them 5-10 minutes...
