18x11 square setup anyone?
Trying to do a 18x11 square setup for my track use, anyone know what offset I would need for 295/35/18 without getting camber plates if it’s possible…?
Thanks! |

295 on a 11 is a waste.
Can run a 295 quite happily on a 10.5 no reason to go to 11 theres off the shelf wheels that fill that role. Apex 18x10.5 VS5RS If wanting to go 305-315 11 is worth it. No reason to re-invent the wheel. -GT3M2 |

Can a 305 on a 18x11 fit with no fender rub on the front?

You really don't need 305 fronts on this car. Spend that money taking high performance driving lessons from a properly accredited instructor.

It would need changes to the liners for clearance. Also have you looked at tire options? 305/35-18 has very few options in the track tire categories. Toyo r888r and nitto NT01 are some of the few tires available. Frankly, I think you'd be faster with 19x11 ET22 and a 305/30-19 which has more 200 tw track tire options.
We make an 18x10.5 ET18 that works well with 295/35-18s which have more tire options. The main reason I haven't opted to produce an 18x11 is that there are not good models tires available in appropriate sizes that take advantage of the wider wheel relative to a 10.5. -Tom

This is some serious truth right here. You can look at wheels all day long but there are certainly sweet spots in diameter that have plenty of tire choices, go up an inch and near unch in choice. When choosing wheels I now start at tires I want then work my way back to wheel size and offset from there.

They require different uprights (camber plates would likely work if the ET8 offset clears the OEM struts) and different wheel arch liners for the specified 305/680-18 tyres to fit without body contact (closest equivalent road tyre is 305/35-18). The wheels are also designed for the M4 GT4 carbon ceramic brakes, so clearance on the steel brakes would need to be checked. Last edited by aerobod; 02-09-2024 at 01:26 PM.. |

As you rightly say the ca. 1 1/4” added poke will be the challenge. M4 CSL swivels/hubcarriers likely would work to add front camber and opt for say 295/40/18 front tyres
