autotecknic - review (TLDR: don't buy here)
So I bought a number of things off autotecknic back in late Nov/early december just before my car was about to get PPF'd it was supposed to all arrive before it went off but...it didn't.
First off - I ordered during their black friday sale to save some money and get my parts here/on before the car went to get PPFd so it could get ppf'd along with the rest of the car, that didn't happen. The parts that did ship "right away" took over 10 days to ship, and then the 1 part that didn't ship until the last week of december. That last part (the corsa grill) was not labeled as back ordered or anything, just got a heads up AFTER the 4 parts shipped and I emailed them that it wasn't going to ship until later in Dec. Quality: Honestly overall the quality is "fine." Its not amazing but its not going to break if you look at it wrong. The weave looks fine, we'll see if it holds up over time but during initial install it was generally fine and looked good. Packaging: A+ - great packaging, much bubbles, many peanuts, etc...re-enforced corners on the boxes...it was good Fitment: D - I cannot comment on the rear valence since I haven't installed it yet...but here we go for the other 4 parts: Corsa grill: fitment is OK at best...uses like 1/3 of the original OEM clips to mount to, still moves a little bit but I took care of that with some extra 3M tape, it looks pretty good installed...Another thing to note is that therre were NO holes dripped for the transplanted M2 badge, I had to cut the posts off the original badge so I had to cut the posts off my badge and use more 3m. Lower Front Bumper Trim: not bad. fitment is the best (aside from the lip spoiler) from the stuff I bought. uses like 1/2 of the OEM clip mounts. its secure, not moving. looks pretty good. Rear lip spoiler: Fitment is great, curves with the trunk. looks good, tape (didn't come pre applied which is annoying) was there to put on. solidly on there. FINALLY... the front inlets: they look great. everything else is garbage. the fitment is shit, would never buy these again. More 3m tape and heat than I care to talk about as well as a lot of time trying to effectively clamp them in place while not scratching things was such a pain! Overall - I should have known better than to buy some of this stuff from a company that was so much cheaper than some other brands. Don't be like me and waste your time and money on a car that deserves better. I'm sure some of the stuff is fine but the only thing that I am genuinely happy with is the spoiler.

I’ll never understand why owners who pay $65K-$75K for a car, work overtime trying to save a couple hundred dollars regarding their add on parts.
Someone ‘splain that to me. |

Still not cheap, and I've never cheaped out on mechanical components...but for "looks" I was honestly more worried about the quality (which seems fine) than fitment. I didn't try and go the ebay/temu route and the prices were within what seemed reasonable for decent stuff, not complete crap. Overall I'm just pissed about the fitment and their lack of communication.

Sure, I mean back with some previous cars I did more of that but with the Supra and m2 I’ve tried to do it right. I figured for like $600+ per piece they’d be decent but not alpha-n, you know? Ehh whatever they are cosmetic. I got my turner intake, mishimoto skid plate to go on for now. Vtforged wheels ordering when taxes are done…I’m ok ha just wanted to make my experience known since they don’t seem to publish reviews on their site.

Thanks for the feedback. I've personally had a good experience with their products, but have only used a few pieces.
Generally, I trust anything sold/offered by iND, which includes AutoTecknic (https://ind-distribution.com/collect...nd=AutoTecknic).

From what I can tell a majority of products on their website are identical to products on Aliexpress, just marked up 4-5x.
Re: saving a couple hundred $$ on parts, high-price doesn't = quality. Most of these vendors are just distributors, middle men. The products are all the same, from the same Chinese factories. Here's just an example of saving a few hundred dollars on parts. But for those who wish to pay the huge mark ups, more power to you.

I haven't dealt with them in a while, but every time I've called, they always answered the phone and got answers to all my questions. Even when I wasn't happy with items in the past, they've been more than fair. But that was a few years ago...

I ordered a matte carbon fiber trim piece for my 2015 BMW M3. They told me it would take 6-8 weeks to complete, It took about 14 weeks. I get the item, and the quality was not that great and the idrive button didnt even fit inside the trim piece nicely. So I returned it, and they are ignoring my emails now to get a refund. They said a refund was sent but that is not true, my bank said nothing has been credited back to me at all and my statements show no credits at all. I reported them to the BBB, and they even ignored them. They gotta be hurting bad not to refund $200...

Air inlets
I also ordered a set of the air inlets and returned them to IND. No problem with IND I have always had great customer service with them and speedy shipping.
