M3 test drive!!!!

I went to my Stealer ship yesterday to get the Mcoupe appraised for a trade in on my 135i but that's a different story. while I was waiting My CA said hey lets take the new M3 for a test drive OMG I don't care what anyone says the new M3 is the King if my 135i is half the car of that M3 I'm going to be a very happy man. not to offend anyone(hey I'm getting a 135i my self) but the 3.0 turbo sounds like a windeup toy compared to that V8 and the power delivery is just gorgeous I'm in love:wub:. It felt more nimble than the Mcoupe and in a whole other league from a 335i, It was pure driving pleasure. Then when we got back from the test drive they were not done with the appraisal so my CA said hey lets try out the 4 door M3. it actual felt a little softer but still the same amazing V8. a couple more days till I get my 135i I hope I'm not disappointed. I'm sure with a few mods I can get the 135i to handle as well as the M3 but boy do I wish I could drop that V8 in there.

BMW's V-8 is a horsepower monster, unfortunately, emission regs neuter the sound of the thing. My 71 Buick's 350 is exempt from regs, the throaty 4-barrel makes many the intoxicating sound, my obedient pet responds, he hauls f'n axx, of course, he's not M-3 fast though he will scoot in his, grumbling, furious, wayward way. Oh, yes...

The first time you fill up the tank in the 135i, you will be glad you don't have the V8... not to mention the $1,300 Gas Guzzler Tax that engine carries.

Having said that, the S65 is an amazing engine. But then so is the N54

I drove the new M3 and the 135i a couple days ago, back to back. The M3 is a beast. The 135i was far more impressive than I expected. There is no way you won't be impressed with the car. Before driving the 135 I had already talked myself out of one due to the price. After driving it I'm considering getting one again. It definitely feels faster than the 335i.
