First 23 G42 DIY Starlight 😂
Hey guys, some I am installing the starlight myself. Here is an update took off the headliner and was able to take it out through the passenger door. Also took out the rear seats and rear right trunk pannel to see all the fuses and figure out where I am going to get my power and hide the box.

Yes, here is an update sir.
I wanted to go a professional job, so took me a bit longer than anticipated. This is my second time doing this, and wanted to make sure for my car that it came out as best as humanly possible. Going to install soon on the car, the car is going crazy, throwing me a whole bunch of codes 😂 |

I figured, but did you find the somewhere else so far?
I was looking through the electrical docs, for an elegant solution to power the lights only when the headlights/parking lights are on, vs with ignition and manually turning them off during the day if so desired. Everything is Lin Bus controlled on these cars, no more switches and relays, no simple wire tied to the parking lights or ambient lights. |

Before I installed my starlight headliner I called the dealer and asked the price of a new headliner, I was quoted $1200.00 CAD. That means you'd only essentially lose a couple thousand, if the dealer or person you're selling to actually cares about the starlight headliner.
