Ohlin's install question?

Who's put these in a G87??

I was fitting the rears today and per Ohlin's spec at full droop the spring is way loose.

I'd like to know what height people set their springs at with what it lowered the car so I don't have to pull it apart too much.

I figure once I set the spring height then adjust the shock length to have a small amount of preload at full droop??

Is the spring loose and unloaded or will it come out?
Were you able to get the millways to work in the front?
If you don't have a solution yet for the EDC error then pm me. I got mine coded out for ~$100

Suspension in. I was taking the wrong points to measure. My guess is the picked the locking ring as their point to make it easier to uses a caliper to measure.

It’s all good now. Though I do want the back a bit lower. Front is great.

Thanks. I’m going to try to code it out with ProTools shortly. They gave me the items to code out and it looks to be like the F chassis. If I run into an issue I’ll hit you up.

Where is the module. Everything I read it’s behind passenger taillight but not sure what it looks like. The modules I see are not it based on some part number searches.

Well after tinkering and much search I have this working without any lights. MDM, traction control all work.

Unlike the F-Chassis it doesn't require the VDP control module to be unplugged. Actually unplugging caused a whole bunch of unrelated issues.

BTW that is in the driver kick panel.

I'm amazed that all the searching I wasn't able to find a how-to for g-series.

I am waiting to hear back from ProTool since their original directions were basically for the F-series.

I basically started translating a bunch of German in the VSC module and it works.

I do have some mismatch codes in the system but that isn't causing any issues driving.

Once I get this all sorted out I will share a step by step for people to program it out with ProTool

Wow if you get it coded out with ProTool then you may be the first. Great work!

Use the instructions as a guide only. Sometimes, your end settings will be a bit different.

FYI after chatting with the protool folks on changing VO and it not really working for me. I decided to just stick with what I did.

Worked without issue.
