I have no idea what the folks charging $100 do to remove EDC when swapping to aftermarket shocks/suspension.

But I have ProTool and it has already paid for itself when I programmed the OG M2 for GTS steering and diff.

For those that aren't familiar ProTool, it is a powerful android mobile app that in my case uses BM3 wifi device. It has the ability to modify any module with a pretty robust pre-built options list on the F-series cars. On G-series not as robust but if you like German there is plenty to dive into.

You can do vehicle orders and recode all the modules based on your VO... well almost. Doesn't quite work on the G87. But in this case not needed.

I have been in touch with their support and they are quick to respond with how-tos. Though I think their support is good for the F-series but it seems not so much on G-series.

So how did I code out my EDC, turn off my chassis code and get back full use of MDM, M traction and DSC off??

Well it may surprise you but I literally changed one setting. The caveat is that my VSC module has a code but doesn't trigger a light. It is 30C4B Incorrect coding data.

Here is the one thing I changed:
Go to VSC
Click coding and select VDP3000

Change VDC_verbatim to keineVDC_Funktion.

That's it. Been driving for two days now.

Next on tap is to put in the Cobra buckets I put in the OG, connect to using the factory connect and attempt to code out all the seat/airbag codes.

Great work! Thanks for figuring this out. I was one of guys to spend $100 to get it coded out but I am glad there's a Protool option. Let us know if it holds when you do the next update.

If I didn’t already have the BM3 WiFi adapter, ProTool, and an extra android device lying around, and all I needed was EDC delete coding it’s worth the $100.
But I also like learning how these things work. Shame that it is closely guarded info but I also get the desire to make some money off of that knowledge.
