Trying to decide on full lip kit and look, help! (decided on MHC)
The look I'm going for here is minimal OEM+.
So far the best kit I've found is the MHC+ Full Lip Kit. It's very minimal, and it also includes the best front lip I've found so far. Doesn't jut out the front too far, and doesn't have any wings. I would also install the MHC+ inlets. https://r44performance.com/products/...101bbe13&_ss=c I'm also thinking of completely removing any spoilers, including the OEM factory spoiler. Because of the way the trunk has a natural "spoiler" to it, I think the rear of the car is well balanced without one. I've attached an image of what that looks like. Thoughts? Any other lips I should be looking at that align with my goals? Next would be wheels, which honestly I have no idea. I've always liked VOLK, but I feel they've maybe gone out of style. Vorsteiners and HRE are sometimes cool, but often look quite busy to me. I do like the stock bi-color wheels so I may just stick with those. I can't speak to these specific parts, but I've purchased several carbon fiber pieces off ali & they've all been excellent quality & fit. They're also identical to pieces shown on vendor websites at 3-4x the price.

I'm interested to hear what you decide MineralGreyMetallic
I'm starting to think about some pieces to "round out" my car as well, and haven't landed on a firm decision yet. |

I ordered the MHC spliiter, skirst, and rear diffuser set. They are not currently in stock, so now we wait.
I need to find someone to PPF and install it. Do people who PPF their cars normally PPF these parts? I would assume so. |

The premier PPF place in this area quoted me
PPF Front Lip: $350 PPF Diffuser: $600 PPF Side Skirts: $600 Install $950-$1,200 Damn. I'm also debating between the MHC and M Performance Duct Inlets. The car in the images above has the MHC Ducts and I think they really improve the look. |

The best price I could find for full car PPF from reputable shops was $7,500 if you can believe that. I called like 4 different shops. Although this does seem ridiculous, this shop is well known for excellent work. I'm happy to pay the price for piece of mind. |

Curious: does this kit come with a piece behind the rear wheels, in the rear bumper “corner”? I was wondering if I had a front splitter, side skirts and a rear diffuser, would it look weird to NOT have a piece under the corner of the rear bumper to “round out” the look? |

Figured I'd order the Maxton front lip because it liked good and was cheap.
It just arrived. Surpringly, it is hollow, and does not have a finished bottom. It's just a top, plastic shell. I can't imagine that it's very aerodynamic. Very odd. So, back to the drawing board. |

The MHC Edition I kit does come with the parts you're talking about. You can see them in the first picture here: https://r44performance.com/products/...rbon-fibre-g87 I don't think it would look weird or incomplete if you omitted those pieces. I will be installing them. |

My experience, especially with expensive enthusiast products (cars, bikes, cameras, monitors, etc) is you get what you pay for. |

I really like this MHC look, so I'm looking forward to seeing yours when you post pics of them installed. I personally went with CT Carbon's front lip and side skirts. I was debating on the rear corner pieces, but for now, didn't purchase them. I already have the M Performance rear diffuser in carbon fiber as a port-installed accessory, so didn't need that piece. I guess I'll decide after I have them installed for a bit one way or another. |

I posted some figures above from a PPF shop that also does aero part installs. Just for the install of front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser the cost is $950-$1,200. Remember also that I'm in LA. Everything is inflated. |

Yeah I have never modded a car before so a little nervous to attempt it myself and risk messing it up. Rather have the people who do it more regularly do it for me lol. |

I really wish the M Performance carbon fiber trim didn’t look so ridiculous otherwise I would just get theirs installed at the port and make things simple. Then I could take it to my PPF installer and be done with it. Now I have to buy aftermarket, find someone to isstall it, pay them to do it, and then take it to my PPF installed…#hassle!

I've installed them on cars in the past. It really isn't difficult. You just need the ramps and proper tools. A second person can be helpful for the larger side skirts.
I'd definitely do it myself if I had the space. I also added the MHC+ V Style spoiler to my order, but haven't decided if I actually want to install it yet. |
