Thought U Guys Could Really Use a Laugh

Passed by my local Cadillac dealer & just had to test drive the 2006 STS.
Got to say it's a great car with lots of speed for sure.
255 HP like our 330i yet zillion times faster, not sure why?

Here's funny part: I asked what we could work out on my car
My 330i is loaded @ $49,000 with 10,000 miles. MINT
They had unreal nerve to say my car is only worth $34,000.
KBB on 2005 is more then outrageous offer.

Cadillac is $51,000 with $7,000.00 rebate. Which $5,000 is GM rebate.

Our BMW's have to have way better resale value then these nuts say?
$15,000 loss in 1 year is beyond crazy. Maybe if Caddy was 2007

Can't believe I even gave it a thought in first place

That is pretty ridiculous. Did he smell like weed when you where talking to him? Glassy eyes, etc? Maybe he was high on crack?

here's a funny story too, I test drove a 2006 TSX, 6 spd manual. During the test drive, it FELT really fast, I was all giddy, but when I look on my tach, it was only 40km/h...

whereas during my E90 test drive, I thought I was doing 40-50km, I was actually doing 80km/h..

My friend brought his McLaren F1 into Ford a couple of days ago and said they'd give him $2,000 for it. He took the deal and laughs everyday about how he burned them. He still misses his McLaren though. He took it to the race track everyday. Here's a picture of it and the other cars he used to go to the track with:

That's the horrible thing about this.
The salesman had to be in mid to late 80's. No kidding.
I tryed every thing to kept my yap shut & be nice with him.
Never would I think someone his age to be ripping people off.
Funny thing is I repected my elder even though he had zip for me!

could it be that his appraisal was based on base MSRP for your 330i (not considering any options) or on common options most 330s in the area has...that still doesn't excuse his idiocy for not checking thoroughly, though
