Question with regards to aftermarket oil cooler install

I’m installing a Mishimoto upgraded capacity oil cooler on the G87. Apparently plug and play with no modifications needed. My question is how do you prime the oil system after it’s installed. It takes about an additional quart to bring the oil level back to full status. On the first start after install I’m worried it will take some time to get oil pressure up. Is there a way to “prime” the oil system before starting? I was thinking of pouring oil into the cooler before install but with a horizontal mount position not sure if that would even work. Thoughts? Thanks.

I’ve seen some people try and pre fill the cooler before they fully connect it
