Has anyone had any issues with clear bra installations on the M2. Mine basically keeps lifting on the upper inner curves of the rear bumper has anyone ran into this issue. I am going to be contacting the shop for the 2nd time to fix the issue.
I receive the vehicle from the shop no lift car sits over night. When I go in the morning and look the attach is what it looks like minus the dusk that has now accumulated. Any solutions? |

What the hell is that? Its a jagged looking mess. Something is definitely wrong. What brand ppf? I wonder if they properly cleaned the car before installing. Was the car waxed or ceramic coated before the ppf went on? After the ppf, how long was it left to cure before you picked it up? Did it get a chance to sit in the sun before taking delivery after the ppf? Was it washed or out in the rain within a day or two, or three after ppf was installed? |

The PPF is Stek. The first time it happen it sat to cure for about 5 days. When I got it (during the day) left it over night woke up same crap. I then sent it back to my guy who stores it the install arrange to redo the rear. I picked it up 2 days later left it over night no rain same result. The dusk in the lifted corners highlight how terrible it is. I don’t know why it’s doing it though not sure if anyone has experienced this.

No glaring red flags. I have had a number of cars ppf'd and never seen this. I am assuming the shop is an authorized installer for Stek? What does the shop say? Maybe give them a third and final chance before, hate to say it, but maybe try and get your money back and go somewhere else (if the shop gives you a gard time, let Srek know). |

They suppose to be an authorized installer they one of the big boys on LI here in NY to my knowledge. I did have a Zurich coat from BMW on the entire vehicle n I did have them remove that coat before installing the Stek.

Yeah they very professional about it. I don’t see any push back their 5 stars on Long Island. But it is annoying because it is >$5000 to have install. N like my post said this would be the second time I returning for the same issue. I will discuss with them for their explanation as to why it is occurring.

You should ask what they did to remove the Zurich. |

Isn’t the warranty via the shop not the film? I can’t imagine the film company covering labor of a shop because another shop couldn’t do it.

The Zurich removal didn’t have details other than remove n polish car before applying PPF. But I had every thing on the car done except the roof n the issue is just those 2 spots on the rear bumper

Since I'm bored I'm just gonna double down on that being an awful install.

I got XPEL Ultimate on my F87 front bumper for $600. 3 years later it still looks like new. No peeling or jagged edges. I don't know about STEK, but installing PPF is all about the installer. XPEL lists the G87 front bumper kit as the highest difficulty, so you need a pro.
