Hey all, have been experiencing a lumpy, uneven cold start on MY24 M240i and was snooping around the engine compartment to see if anything looked off. Noticed what appears to be notch or a cut in the hose connection on passenger side of the engine just in front of MAF. Wondering if it’s supposed to be there or if it was damaged from factory. I have circled the location on the first pic along with an up close shot in 2nd pic. Can someone check to see if theirs looks the same. Really appreciate it!!! Thanks all!!!

100% normal. That is just a plastic seam from when they make the pipe.

Also our cars don’t have a maf. What you think is a maf sensor is a temp sensor.
