Update: I'm seeing paint code '490' which is 'Special Order Color' indicating individual colors will be available. I cannot however see what colors will be on offer.

It's the same upholstery code as the 4, but on the M2 it will obviously be offered on the nicer M seats. Don't have any new info for iDrive or otherwise. You can check out this post for updates on the G87, Known future G87 models...

Well, this makes me feel better about not waiting for the 2025 colors. While I like the VRM, I don't like red on my own car. Not a fan of that odd yellow BMW seems to use a lot. Portimao blue is a pretty color, but Voodoo Blue - I'd have given up my 2024 or I'd have been mad at myself for not doing a 2025. And I am about sick of gray cars - I get enough of that in the sky here in CT. LOL But I do like Mineral Grey Metallic - that would have been a nice choice.

I haven't had a black car in 30 years. I'm ready to take the plunge again.

I'm glad I got Toronto Red. I wouldn't purchase any of those new colors. Frozen Grey would be the only one, but I'd have to budget for full ppf. No reason to have 3 greys and 3 blues. Should have at least a green thrown in there.

Why the fuck did the get rid of the brown interior ? Why do all the options have to versions of Black ? The 2 seires interior options are so bad.

Brown was the only color I wanted

Probably because it has a very low take rate and doesn't really go well with any of the exterior colors.

My wife has Tartufo extended merino leather interior in her X3MC. While it looks nice, black with M color highlights would look much better and fit the sportiness of the vehicle.

Offering 3 variations of black as the ONLY interior options on a 70k car after options is insane to me. The M4 gets 7+ interior color options but M2 only 3 versions of black ? The M240i has more color options.
