Ordered wheels , which are being made.

In the meantime , I ordered the needed TPMS. The installation instructions include :

1) The hex nut will stop when it reaches the shear washer.

2) You will need to torque the hex nut until the shear washer breaks free.

3) After the shear washer breaks free, torque the hex nut to 35 inch pounds.

Is this something a tire shop has done a thousand times ? Or should I do it myself to make sure it is done correctly ?

I would just let the shop do it. Because unless you’re mounting the tires yourself, you gotta send it to the shop anyways. Unless you really want to do it, otherwise, I’d just let them do it

Yeah , I'm probably overthinking it.

If I mention the 35 inch pounds to the service manager , and he knows what I'm talking about, then no worries
