So, pretty recently I moved to the nova area which is filled with uneven roads, pot holes, etc. It took me a bit to learn the roads and mitigate it but I started noticing a rattle in the back that was only really present when going over uneven roads. I ended up figuring out that its the shelf type thing behind the back seats and under the window. After shoving a microfiber cloth behind it the rattle finally stopped.. My question is have any of you guys experienced this and is there a more permanent fix I can do?

Yeah, I read through that post before, but I want to say the issue they talk about is the common suspension thump. I've been lucky enough not to have that problem. Mines more of a rattle from the liner under the rear window.

I had this issue with my 2016 340i. The back light on my rear window was not snug so it would rattle. Maybe try some 3M tape or an adhesive.
