AWE track edition and valved catback exhaust install and sound review!
All right yall, I am very excited to share out the world premiere of the new AWE exhaust suites for the BMW G87 M2. This new system including both midpipes and either valved catback or Track edition exhaust is available as of today.
I had a chance to get hands on with this system and a gorgeous local M2, installing both the catback and track edition for a full DIY. This also gave me a chance to do a full before and after video comparing stock, catback and track edition all on the same car, same day. What a fantastic opportunity to work with a new system and very likely the very first G87 customer car outside their shop, in the world! The install is straight forward, and I walk you through the entire process, and you can hear the differences in the setups. The catback is excellent, adding a deeper note and extra growl in both Efficient and Sport modes. The Track edition is valveless, so brings the full spicy all the time, with both much louder than stock emphasizing exhaust tone and burbles. Here are the full set of links for both installs and the full comparison of the systems! Track edition Catback edition Comparison

Nice video! I bet if you put a valve controller on the valved system it would sound much closer to the non valved system but with the option of also quieting it down.
