Adding lowering springs to build

Waiting on an allocation from my dealer to order an M2. Was wondering, does anyone know what the cost is to add lowering springs to your build and if anyone has done it?

What the person above me said for cost. I added the MP HAS to my build and very pleased with the ride height and drivability.

Here you go. My car has 15mm spacers in the front and 18mm in the rear. The suspension is set to the default drop from the port.

Keep in mind this is more than just lowering springs. This is the MP HAS which is adjustable to allow you to dial in the height you want. Port installed is worth the price as well since it is considered OEM at that point and covered by factory warranty. $2820 added to the build. They will lower 10mm at the port but you can lower up to around another 10mm later if you choose. Definitely glad I went that route personally.

There are several threads in the suspension forum about this. As for the order: You need to ask your sales person to call their BMW NA rep and add the Z58 option package to your car.

I have an open order for an M2 right now (builds 6/25). Dealer's buyer is saying Z58 is not available right now for order. Can anyone confirm?

This does not sound correct. Sometimes there are product backorders for M performance parts but that would just delay the delivery timeline.

Agreed, I have an order in status 150 with a build date of 06/10 and had no problem adding it on.

Exactly. This sounds more like the dealer and sales rep just don't know how to add it. There was a learning curve when I was ordering my car since my rep had never added port installed parts before but we figured it out.

Thanks for the quick feedback! I'll see if the dealer can sort it out. Is the best bet to jump to a level above the dealer like a regional rep? This is my first BWM so I'm not familiar with how they organize their dealers, ordering system, etc.; hence the naive questions.

I'm sure if you told them another dealer is able to get you Z58 and you want to cancel your order they'll figure it out faster than you can say Audi sucks.

No need - they got it sorted out. Looks like the CF spoiler is not available to add to orders right now, though.
