Fitting the M4 CSL strut brace with the Eventuri V2 intakel

Greetings Guys,
I'm doing some research/homework on the mods for the M2, and curious if there's any interference with the Eventuri V2 intake when installing the M4 CSL strut brace.

From the IND website (https://ind-distribution.com/product...e-retrofit-kit), it seems that the V1 intake requires a separate Eventuri retrofit kit that changes out the main Carbon Intake Tube and Left-Side Intake Housing. Not sure if the V2 version would also require the same or similar kit for the CSL strut brace to fit.

Is there anyone in the group that has both installed and can share their experience?

Thanks a lot!

How does the v1 differ from the v2?

Good question, as I have no idea, and can’t seem to find any information…

It works and I have both installed. You don't need the retrofit kit if you buy V2.

The difference between V1 and V2 is in the tube that runs across the front of the engine bay. It's different near where the right, front most CSL brace bolt is in the lower right part of the photo. That area of the brace contacts the intake tube on the V1.

Here's a picture of my bay so you can see.

Do you have the v1 or v2?

I don't even recall which one I got, it's the only one IND sold at the time I got mine.

V2. I should have mentioned that. I edited my post to provide more context.

Wow, thanks a lot for the input and very clear photo!
How do you find the CSL strut brace? Have you compared it with, or tried any other strut braces?

Sorry, I'm pretty sure I installed that shortly after I got the car. I don't even remember what, if any, difference there was before I installed it. I haven't tried any other braces.

I like it though. It's cool when you park next to a CS or a CSL with the hood open. I'll be honest, I got it because it looks cool, not because I was expecting a noticeable difference in performance. I drag and roll race my car. And yes, I see the irony in spending $3k on something that's supposed to help you turn better lol.

If I had the chance to do it again, I'd still get it, even over any of the aftermarket options. How can you really beat OEM?

I really appreciate your honest input, and despite the crazy cost, I also believe that the one-piece design to be more effective; even more so after seeing a YouTube video which said that he literally had to hug the engine bay in to align the studs with the holes.
