Is everybody ordering an MY25 doing the new Red/Black Interior?

Don’t hear this being discussed much.

With the 23/24 cars I was always going to do the boy-racer color highlight interior. Was looking forward to it.

Now, I’m not so sure on my ‘25. I also just realized all the stitching on the boy-racer is boring grey.

I’m leaning towards the red/black or black with blue stitching now.

Maybe I’ll red/black and do the MP armrest to get a little more color.

Also, I love that they ditched the bright silver all over the dash.

Will M color highlights still be an option? I have them on my 24 and I think they look great. Wouldn’t call them boy racer, more like just M specific seats.

I think the highlights look great too. Another tough choice…

Another cool thing about the red/black is it extends all over, even into the back seats..

What exactly is a "boy racer"? I'll admit I'm over 55, so I might be out of touch.

Serious?

It’s a term often used to describe modifications to automobiles that are flashy or somewhat gaudy or full-blown poor taste.

My uses, here, would be ‘flashy.’ Not that’s there’s anything wrong with the M highlights - that was the interior I was going with until I saw the red/blk option for ‘25. Now I’m torn.

Didn’t realize it also showed up in the back seats. I’m 100% red now.
Skyscraper or Alpine the last decision.

I’m actually not a fan of the red highlights on the new seat color option, so I plan on ordering mine with the blue stitching.

I’ll be doing either the black with blue stitching or the black and red, leaning towards the black and red.

I really like the red highlights in the 2025 interior. It's less racer boy than the M color highlights in the previous model years. I have the M color highlight seats in my car and glad I do since everything else on the car is black. Gives it a little flash so really depends also on what exterior and wheel options you are thinking as well and if you wanna just blend in or stand out.

I, most of the time, forget the car even has back seats.

Here in Australia we had only the three choices, the sport seats with red and blue accents, tan interior or the ball crunching carbon buckets....we weren't offered the additional black leather sport seat with the blue stitching. Our configurator has yet to include the MY2025 changes, but, if I were to order a 2025 G87 I think I would be looking at the skyscraper grey with the black leather with red accents. It is all a hypothetical for me as I remain very happy with my current Brooklyn grey 6MT.

The red doesn't work with every exterior color IMO. That's the main issue for me. Don't think I'd get the red interior with SPY or Java.

I'm a fan of the M highlight seats as well. Exactly why I went with them on my 24. Goes well against ZB. Unfortunate if they are not an offering on MY25.

Dare i say i found the new red accents a bit 'generic'?
And there is no red stitching on the transverse lines in the middle of the seats as shown on the confirgurator. Go figure... about the rear seats i agree, they look nice. I like the rear M2 emblem in black with silver surroundings. In the front grille i prefer the current silver one in contrast with the black.

No cognac is infuriating and I don't like the new red stripe that replaces it. But I haven't heard anyone talk about the new alcantara seats option yet, which I think is really sick.

Only because you asked, and understanding everyone has different tastes, but I think those red inserts take the car down a couple of notches. Could be the rendering, but they look cheap. Reminds me of those awful black/red STI seats or some of the other JDM econoboxes. I think the all black seats suit the car much better on all MY25 exterior colours. Just my 2 cents!

The red and black seats remind me of those early two tone R35 GT-R interiors and they didn't even look good back then... kinda disappointed to see congac removed for that. I wish we had the all black interior in Australia!
