Data Collectlon
I thought I read somewhere about BMW's i Drive or one of the computers that does "data collection" that is able to be turned
off by the owners...I think within the i Drive. Anyone know what I'm talking about? It's like what GM has been doing and Ford. GM has backed off since they were selling your info to third parties and that ended up with Insurance Co's. BMW has an "official name" for it, but, can't remember. It's nothing to do with track data. It's tied to how you're driving the vehicle, etc. Thanks for any help with this. |

I believe you're talking about "My Trips" maybe.
I don't have this activated on my car. There's also a setting to not share data when you're setting up your BMW profile, iirc.
