A huge part of this is my wife will road-trip in the car. The M2 is the perfect GT car at sub 90k.
We followed a perfect 06? Elise home from the dog park this am and I told her I could do one of those for $50k or so. She said she’d never even sit in it. ….sigh

I promised her we’d pay off the new roof before I buy a car, that’s why it looks like I’m dicking around. An August M2 order/winter delivery will do the trick. First road-trip is Montreal f1 June ‘25.

we picked G87s BECAUSE we are enthusiasts. not vice versa although i bet the venn diagram between enthusiasts and G87 owners looks much more like a single circle, than the boxster owner one does

Here's a better idea, pick up a six speed G80 with the Fjord blue interior. The car is sick AND convenient. Black or even yellow exterior would be wild. Pick one up soon and let er rip. Enjoy life, don't worry about what anyone else thinks or what the next latest and greatest thing is. Just do it.

Some people get inside a lotus elise and never get back out. That was the car I almost bought before I got into my first BMW (19' M240i) back in early 2021. I got in and out of the Elise a couple times and it was challenging. To me that's a car I would want to have for a weekend or two and then move on. I would love the chance to drive one just to see what they are all about.

Nobody's perfect.

Regardless, its 4th of July weekend. Time to treat yourself and get a deal on a custom ordered G80. 500+ hp, blue interior, wild exterior, the time is now. Or even better, if your dealer can find one and trade in on one, boom, you're getting your car even sooner.
