PPF before or After Carbon Fiber trim
OK Gents,
Hopefully an easy question. For those who have PPF’d their cars did you install your splitter, sideskirts, and other bits before or after having installed PPF on your cars? I have gone to a few shops and some say to install them after they applied PPF on the car and to come back so they can PPF the trim and others say to come to them after all the pieces are installed and they apply PPF all in one shot. |

I’m installing my spoiler because I’m only getting the front end PPF’d. I’m making sure to install the front bumper reflector deletes before too so they can PPF right over them. The rest (CF lip etc) will come after because I want the PPF wrapped underneath without the CF parts getting in the way.
So I’ll be working on the car for a few day before delivering to PPF shop.

I agree. It allows the edges of the PPF to be tucked and secured under and CF you install.

To OP...please clarify what parts of the car you are going to ppf (front clip or entire car).
One recommendation, remove rear spoiler and do paint correction. If just front clip, ppf clip, then ppf lip and install lip. At same time ppf spoiler if you want and install spoiler. Last thing that should be done is ceramic coat. |

Are you doing paint correction and ceramic coating? What part(s) of the car are you doing ppf on (front clip only (includingmirrors), front clip and roof or entire car)? |
