doubtfull, the factory only increases msrp at the start of each model year otherwise you could have 2 cars of identical options at a dealer with 2 different prices on them.

The dealer is blowing smoke up your skirt to get you to buy now rather than later

All E90's are already 06 models, pricing on other models, like the 5,7,6,Z4,X3....... may go up from 05-06 but

the E90's will not have a price hike in september, that's just silly

I believe that they will raise prices at least in Europe. The new base model 318i comes and they propably will raise 320i's price.
They have always done that when a new base model arrives.

Lexus a few months ago hiked all cars mid model year.

if the prices should fluctuate, the prices should go down. Euro has gone down in the past vs USD...in HK, all BMW have a 10% discount when Euro went down last month.

The Euro has BARELY gone down...it is still at 1.20 to the dollar, which is pretty much where its been hovering over the past 2 1/2 years.

Besides, don't think that BMW (or any European manufacturer) is going to pass on currency savings to American buyers. In fact, all the while that the Euro has outpaced the dollar, they have continued to increase prices at times other than the start of the model year. Look at the E60's history of increases.

Back in the 90's when the dollar was strong, all they did was increase standard equipment a bit and left the price alone, and of course give us a brand new model. There were no mid-year increases. Not these days.... .

Wow...if that's true (that there will be an increase in september) then this will be the first time I ever made an impulsive and spontaneous purchase and it was actually the right thing to do!

you're wrong. The difference is 10%, look at the charts. it was at USD$1.37/euro back in 01/05 and now it's back at USD$1.2215/euro. I guess u don't do much fx trading

If the price was to increase, why would they announce it ahead of time? They would just do it. Just a ploy to get you to sign...

...that option/model/etc. may no longer be available in a month.

...this may be the last one we have for awhile.

...there has been huge demand for that model, we can barely keep them on the lot.

...the price on that may increase soon.

You get the picture.

Yes. That's a good one. There's been a lot of that one reported on this forum.

My dealer "John Holtz" also said of a price increase.
Long after I bought my new 330i & delivered to me.
I believe it & frankly after driving this car 2 weeks now. Worth it!

They never mentioned it to me when I ordered it and they have still not mentioned it to me. I also purchased it from John Holtz. BTW, can they actually increase the price for my car even if I signed the buyer's agreement contract? (all the exact prices charged are listed and written).
