Help me decide
Which combo should I go with? help me decide.
I already have the two (in one photo). But now I'm thinking the rear wing in the other photo would be a better pair with the lip but that would entail for me to sell the current wing and purchase the new wing which is a hassle. I do like th high kick style of the PSM but the other wing is more edgy faced like the lip.

If they both go all of the way to the edge, I don't think you could go wrong with either one. The bigger one looks more aggressive - go with that if you want aggressive. The other one looks cool & stylish. Go with that one if you want that look. I went with one more aggressive than my usual taste (I usually go for subdued and stylish) & I actually love the look.

In my opinion, the two best spoilers are from Unit 17

Okay so here is my -how my story end up. That lip that I got shown above, when I opened it a week later from arriving (just busy) from west coast euro turned out to be damaged. Actually it was a very bad example. Besides a big crack the whole thing has a bunch of scratches. In my opinion it was an off product they probably tried to pass up to me from someone else. They of course say it was UPS fault. And the crazy part was I thought it was going to be a struggle to get my money back because they don’t even have a phone number just instagram and email which they never really responded when I was asking when they will ship to me. It just showed up to my door a week after. Any when I became resourceful and decided to hand delivered it to them two hours away just so I can get my money back asap…. are you still reading this? I did get
my money back. So unfortunately that particular $750 cf lip I could not recommend the workmanship and design just does not make sense to me. So in the sense I had an appointment with friends that we are suppose to do a get together yesterday and did a group install to install my lip and spoiler and my friends lip on his g80 and my friends springs to put eibachs on his f80. I research for another one immediately. I remember coming across this company online called Aeroflow Dynamics when searching for a lip for my g87. At the time it was a coming out release ABS lip and was on sale for $150. At the time, I did not give it much thought because I was going for CF at a higher price point. But now that I had this experience I gave them a call and it turned out they were reachable to me so I immediately contacted them and one thing lead to another and I got the lip instead so if this is an option you like. You might one to try it out. All I can say is it’s a great option. For a black ABS material alternative, the quality, accuracy of fit is top notch. Even the one for the G80 was also impressive. It actually completed his stock lower aero all around. It should have been like it from the factory. You guys be the judge of the photos. The products for the G87 is still limited for the lip but I know they will be expanding it in the future. I understand the reputation is big in Subaru and Toyota community.. So again check out Aeroflow Dynamics online. BTW, I also decided to go ahead and just install my PSM style spoiler and the fit is about 90% ok. But it looks way better than stock so I’m happy. Now my next project is black gloss side skirts and cf mirror caps

Thanks! I dont know what you mean by hollow but even the carbon fiber I returned is so thin, I bet one hit at a curve that thing is done. And the design like at the edge was hooking so there is a chance when you park if it gets hook to something it could get pulled and crack. At this price point I won’t even worry about it breaking.

I think you will be happy with the quality and fit. Since me and my friends already got the chance to put it in my advice is when you test fit you might see the pre installed double sided tape might be too outside and will show outward so you might want to reinstall new ones first where you feel it’s not placed right. So you will want to assemble them together before sticking them to the bumper. It is asked to use the smaller screws to hold the theee pieces. If you can find a different way to hold them together I think that would be better because it created a indentation on the top of mine. Maybe like one of those big metal clips would be better. (I attached a photo of how that looked like) Then pre stick pre position the lip. Tighten the predetermined bolt to the lined holes then drill where the indentations are.

Most of the CF splitters are hollow but with a partial smooth under “lip” - including the M performance, TRE. |

Wow, great find Izzy.
I am super tempted by this. I had been considering the lightweight lip, but that only goes across the middle and is like $600. I assume this lip will break pretty easily, but still way better then breaking a 1.5k CF splitter. That really raises the stakes at an autocross event. |
