Likelihood Of Aftermarket Tail Lights Being Produced ?
Something that always stands out to me when admiring the G42 and G87 , is the tail lights.
Although the actual illumination and function in dark conditions, is pleasant. The actual flow of the tail lights doesn't seem to match the rest of the car. For those of you who were followers of the previous gen M2 / M240 etc., how soon was an aftermarket alternative for tail lights available ? Even if an aftermarket option was to be considered, would it even be plug and play accessible ? Or would the car's electronics not recognize the new tails and give error codes ? Here's an example of someone's design concept : |

I actually like the tail lights. If I had to make any change it would be to remove the small section that flows into the trunk. I've never liked tail lights on that carry over onto the trunk (like shown above).
