Agree with the article that it makes most sense as a spec class. Which is fine I guess, I just never found spec class that interesting?

I know, I know, in theory it focuses more on driver skill and less on the car. It's just not for me.

Context: I'm speaking as a spectator, this kind of racing is way out of my league as a participant.
