How long before starting the production

My dealership called and said they have an allocation, so i spec-ed out the car. (Twililght Purple) with all the options possible (Manual), meaning no ACC or remote start, but everything added on. The price gave me a mini heart attack, which i will be okay with.

So the dealer gave me a production number and I logged into the portal, i keep saying they are making adjustment to start my production.

Realistically when will production start and when can i get the car? November time frame?

Thanks!

Incredible spec, I can't wait to see this color on some M2s

I was told December for Java Green and similar spec a month ago. So I’d assume January/February is what it would be if you just got the allocation.

Thats my thought.

Get everything prepped and get some items on order so I can slap everything on in one go when it arrives.

Keep in touch with your CA. They will have access to and be able to provide you with mist up to date and accurate information (more than the genius line). From what you have said, it seems they are good at communicating so you should be good.

ok cool. I really don't want to ask too many questions and bother him. He gave me a good deal and went out of his way to make the deal happen. I just wanted to check passively on the BMWUSA site.

Thank you.

Was at my dealer today to add a couple of port options and my CA pulled up their current M2 orders, they have 4 Individual orders… 1 Grigio with no production date listed, 2 Voodoo with production weeks of 48 & 49 and my Java Green with no production week listed. So, the Grigio and mine are definitely after the Voodoo’s. Genius had told me that mine is currently scheduled for week 3. CA said it should update on their system very soon to reflect that.

Of course tracking (use the website and app) but your CA is there for you. As long as you don't pester him, he should be more than happy to answer all questions, keep you updated and overall open to communications.
