It still baffles us how capable the S58 and G8X platform is.

45% increase in power from stock with an OPF delete, Downpipe and a tune.

We took the AUTOID G87 M2 to Areeve performance to get a proper tune after seeking to squeeze out more than a tuning box offered.

Result: 710HP / 866NM

Yes, the OPFs are very restrictive. It is recommended to open up the intake and exhaust as much as possible to get the best out of any tune.

Yes this is on 98 / 99 Ron Pump Fuel.

I know your octane ratings are different, but that's still quite impressive, we would need an ethanol blend to hit those numbers.

I though the very same thing, I was enlightened just the other day..

I’m from Scotland but live in the USA now, was always used to putting in 99 octane fuel, when I got here and seen that premium fuel was 93, I was so shocked and disappointed.

I made the same comment you did and someone told me how it was the same, I was like, eh no lol

Anyways after some research, it essentially is, in the UK, it’s 99RON, in the US, it’s a different measurement, it’s a combination of RON and MON, this roughly equates to the 99RON that the UK has..

Go check it out and you will see what I’m meaning..

very cool! i did DPs, res delete, and a piggyback for my F80, and it was incredible how different it performed. imagine it’s even crazier with this motor.

We have 94 AKI readily available here in Canada, that is equivalent to a bit above 99 RON.
