Zunsport Front Protection Install Question
Front center went in super easy in seconds. But the brake duct areas next to it are proving to be a pain. I can’t get a nice flush fit. Here is closest I can get but there is a gap where I’m pointing. The one in the picture is the right side (driver side). Do I have it oriented correctly?
Also, it seems this is just for looks because the brake ducts don’t need protection right? What about the space further over on the sides seems there is some sort of radiator there… should I get the extra pieces for that area as wel… does that need protected just as much as the center radiator? Thanks! |

The brake duct pieces are just there if you want to complete the look across the entire front. You don't need them as it would be a spectacular chain of events for a rock to go down the duct and cause a problem versus just harmlessly falling on the road again.
Can't speak to the fitment as my car is only just arriving at port today, but my zunsport is in the garage and will be going on right away as well. |

Yep, every car I've seen looks better (to me, subjectively) when all of the pieces are on together and I want to keep road debris out for as long as possible. I might switch it up down the road if/when I buy new inlets, but for now I've got my hands full shopping wheels, axle-backs, and splitters so I expect they'll stay like that for at minimum the first year.

I did the whole set and it looks great and I took no additional damage on my last track day. The first track day i did without and took a ton of small dings on my cooling system. You have the orientation right on your brake duct covers, they are just a B to get in. I found that inserting while pushing the tab closes to the center grill in with a long flathead worked well to get that side in and then pushing the short side in until it clicks. bit tight and yes there is a small gap, but anywhere but right up close on it you cant tell. Did the full 5 piece set on mine. The side radiators are auxiliary heat exchangers and are vitally important for performance driving as well as mighty expensive to replace.
