Tons of Youtube videos on it. Obsessed Garage, Pan the Organizer, Adams, Rag Company, etc. You'll see there's an endless amount of coverage on this.

On a car as new as yours I would use a wet rag with a mild soap, zero water pressure.

Interesting how people keep asking questions like this on the forum now when they could just google it instead...

Amazes me that people see a question they don't want to be part of, click "reply" and tell them to go search for it.

One option is just to ignore posts you aren't interested in, another is to give a smart a$$ answer - your choice.

I get it.

I have benefitted from the wealth of knowledge here over the years. I also usually don't find my questions unique and at some point has already been answered so I'd rather be self sufficient than rely on others to do the dirty work. Different strokes.

ounce of prevention... maybe they'll get the hint and not ask 100 new questions that have already been asked 100,000 times already?

Some questions are kind of beyond newb. We need one of those functions that pops up and says "Before you post this question, here are some search results that I, the bot, have performed for you - read them first and then post if you still feel the need."

Telling him where to get the information and then we discuss why it's a stupid question in front of him. I'm sure he has a better idea what he's dealing with here than before he joined.

Note to the OP, it's a BMW forum, you will get responses from BMW owners and it's what you would expect. Welcome to the club
