Winter Wheel choices
I’m considering getting a winter set of wheels and I was thinking about style 359 but I can’t seem to find a picture of them on a G42 Does anyone know of anyone with those wheels on their car or another good option for winter wheels?

OEM 359's will not fit the G42. But generally they look like any other mesh wheel if thats your style. You need 5x112 66.6 CB
I'm planning to relegate the OEM wheels to winter duty and buying summers instead. Nice because then spacers for OEM wheels wont be needed.

I'm using the 898Ms as I have the ZTK package and the 19" wheels provide a bit more clearance to the rotors which is better for the slush we get up here in Canada

google "rim visualizer" and hit the canadawheels.ca link.
filter black wheels and find something similar and it will give you a good idea on how it looks

Here's the post: https://g87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=2130662
I had zero fitment issues on the M2 with HAS and no spacers. I presume you will have no issues as well on the g42 with ztk. |

Wheels are flow forged, so better than stock but not better than forged regarding weight. Let me know what other specs you're interested in and I'll update the post. Thanks for the feedback! |

The offset is important, not just for clearing the brakes but also clearing the fenders. The fender clearance is different between the M2 and 240, by quite a bit.
I am not saying they wont fit M240 but nobody should buy them until the offsets are known.

The back the will definitely work but the fitment is 5mm inboard of stock wheels.
The front will be 27.7mm further in on the inside from stock. That's a lot more inboard, and should be test fit or confirmed from another user to not hit the suspension. Stock is 19x8.5 et 25, No longer applies

I found this post that shows 19x9 ET30
https://g87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...7&postcount=62 Quite close to the strut in the front. Your wheels would sit 16.4mm closer, so for these wheels to work on 240 they will need a 12-15mm spacer. 9.5 is pretty wide for the front of the 240 though, it will be the absolute maximum poke with a 15mm spacer. No longer applies spec is ET25
