Demand for ZHP/M-sport/si package on 335

For those of you considering the 328/335, either E90 or E92, would you be interested in a ZHP-type package? What components would you want, and how much are you willing to pay for it?

I'm hoping when E90 335 details get released it includes a package offering ZHP like stuff...short shifter...M style front air dam...M style rear spoiler...M wheels...M steering wheel...LSD...tighter suspension...alcantara interior...

I'm going to miss my ZHP when I turn it in on the 23rd!

Obviously we are a bizarre group, but there are hundreds of us on this list. And almost 90% want some type of ZHP package. I wonder how many 325 and 330 owners would have gone for ZHP if it were priced similar to the E46 option.

We are definitely in a small group...first, we drive sticks...second, we drive the biggest engine available in non M 3ers...we want some M features...we care about performance as well as looks...

Most people buying 3ers get the smaller engine...auto...and could give a hoot about M stuff...

So, you are on an E90 335 waitlist too?

Yes, I am on the waitlist. Let's hope it's not too long. The wait that is -- for my stock portfolio I hope the list is very long!

I want a limited slip or I'm not wasting my money.

An aftermarket LSD is one of the few things I would be tempted by. Tough call, in part because it is tough to get any resale on it. It would add >2k to the price of the package. It is usually limited to M models.

Wasn't always that way...they were even available as an option on the E36 318ti and standard on the E30 325is. LSD shouldn't cost more than a thousand or so as a factory option.

I'm sure they could lose some of the pointless cosmetic bits to even out the cost - but then, the cosmetics are probably the main selling point of the package to most buyers off the street. My constant demand for performance at the expense of all else always lands me in a hopeless minority. Limited slip and the like aside, I'd love to be able to get a 335i sedan with cloth/alcantara, no power seats, no moonroof - and maybe an appropriate discount to go with it!
