Gear shifter replacement
I really dont like the look of the new shifter on the 230i or m240i. I don’t know why BMW decided to change the original gear shifter design to a very simple lever or I dont even know what to call it. Im trying to find a way to replace the new one but I don’t know where to start. I would appreciate some help.

The G87/G42 forum layout sucks, but you posted this in the G87 section. If you scroll down farther you can find the G42 section. Best of luck!

Seen lots of talk about it in various places, but never seen anyone actually do it.

I and others have done it, there's really nothing to it. Just swap them out and it works, no coding or anything.
