I was playing with US configurator and it no longer has the package that gets you the shadow line trim. I think same package also gets you red calipers. My order still has it listed so I hope my car comes with it.

Interesting, I don't see why they would remove the red caliper.... I just picked up mine last week and it was based on how I spec'ed it with red. I think as long as your order shows it, you're fine.

OP is correct. It’s no longer on the options list on the U.S, configurator. I came here to post a thread as well but he beat me to it.

Don’t know if it’s the same but in the UK, earlier models came with cerium grey trim. 2023 models came with black trim as standard which I think is shadow line.
Guess the US is catching up…

Is the M Sport Professional package standard now? I don't see it in the standard features list and the configurator shows blue calipers and paint matched rear lip, whereas with the extended shadowline trim you get the black rear lip.

I also noticed you can now option the Illuminated M Trim with the carbon fiber interior trim. Before you couldn't do that either.

The headlight are slightly different to. There is a gold stripe instead of black without the package. I think the side mirrors may also be different?

If you look at one that’s already built that as red brakes it shows “M Sport Brakes in Red” as a zero charge option and “Shadowline Package” as an option. Neither of those are on the configurstor.

The 230 config still lists it. I notice the while Build your Own system is slow as hell right now, so maybe they make some updates and it borked the 240 one.

I can confirm this. I placed my order last Monday with my dealer. Next day I called to have them add an option to my car. (Illuminated M Trim $200) They sent me over my new build sheet and checked to make sure the option was on there. Looked at the updated MSRP and it had only gone up by $50. Looked at my options and noticed there no longer was a charge for the M Sport Pro Pkg.(still included M Sport brakes w/Red Calipers, M Shadowline Lights and Extended Shadowline Trim) and there was a charge for the Shadowline Pkg of $250. I called the dealer and asked what was going on. He said that BMW must have changed the pricing on options and that I was fine. I said "not that I'm complaining about the price only going up $50, but I just want to make sure I'm still getting everything I asked for" He said "as far as he can tell, everything was fine" So I'm hoping it's all good.

Interesting, my dealers inventory tool shows the car I ordered and it shows the MSRP as $150 less than the build sheet I have from a few months ago. I haven't changed anything. So sounds like M Sport pro package is now called Shadowline Pkg again and is $250 instead of $400. Like others said, maybe some of the other pro package stuff is now standard. As long as my car didn't change at all I'm fine saving $150 bucks.

Yes, my MSRP would've been $150 less but because I added the Illuminated M Trim ($200) it only went up $50. As long as nothing changes I'm fine with the $150 savings.

Well, I really hope they fix the configurator soon. Can’t even play around with builds because there is no way to option Shadowline lights or red brakes right now.

Red was standard when I purchased, as was black trim.
Looking at the UK configurator, they are now charging a grand for those two plus M seat belts - which also used to be standard.

I've been trying to get clarity on this from my client advisor. As best as they can figure (BMW is not making it easy for them either) is that the ZMQ M Sport Professional Package is no more (EOP:10/24), being replaced with the ZHO Shadowline Package (SOP:10/24). Except the ZHO package is not something you can add, it's just standard. So, you'll still get the red painted brake calipers, the black-out headlights, and the black rear lip spoiler. Their configurator online has not yet been updated to incorporate the change so that it correctly shows the exterior image of your build.

See page 8 of the attached pdf. EOP = End of Production, SOP = Start of Production.

So, if my car was built in September but delivered in November, do I pay the extra $150 or not? :-). Looking at my dealers inventory they list the car at the newer, slightly cheaper, MSRP. I guess in the grand scheme of things who cares. I'll find out in the next couple days, dealer is supposed to receive car today.
