Weird place for M badge

Getting my G87 serviced saw this on a 25 G42. This is new, right? I don't remember seeing this on older ones.

Yeah. That's new on the G42. You can remove that. It just snaps in and is one piece, at least according to the parts diagram. I plan on removing mine.

I’d rather have them on the fenders than down in the corner up front.

I mean, I don't really care, that ship has sailed awhile ago. I just thought it was weird spot for it.

It looks like someone found an M badge at a junk yard and slapped it on their jalopy 😂
