M Performance letters peeling off console lid

Noticed today the letters and M colors are peeling or some have peeled off the alcantara console lid. After I noticed it I checked where my arm rests on the lid, and it doesn't rest on the letters. A bit disappointing for how much this parts costs.

Too bad, indeed disappointing. As a side note, the MP steering wheel I had on my F - the blue stripe at 12 started flaking around month 9, and I don't use anything abrasive. So much for OEM quality.
