Which would you choose?

I have a choice between the two cars below, both have pros and cons and I am struggling to make a choice.

I am interested which would you go for 1 or 2?

Both are brand new & unregistered
Both are at the same dealer, the same price and some options I like on each.

I am not bothered about auto or manual, driven both and both have merits. Both UK cars and we get ours fully loaded with minimal options. I also like both colours!

I do wonder if an OG will suffer price wise on the used market.

Just to add, I did order choice 2 but think an auto with buckets is a better choice five months since ordering. Oops.

Choice 1:

OG Toronto Red
Auto
Bucket Seats
UK Comfort Pack (comfort access, heated steering wheel, wireless charging)
Carbon Roof
Carbon Interior
Black wheels
Available now
BMW Track Pack
Auto Cruise control

Choice 2:

LCI Voodoo Blue
Manual
Sports seats with M Sport colours
Alcantara steering wheel
Silver wheels
UK Comfort Pack (comfort access, heated steering wheel, wireless charging
Carbon Roof
Carbon Interior
Been at the port in Mexico for three weeks already

Choice 2.

I don't like black wheels. I like blue.

I also like the MT but you said that didn't matter.

If it were me, Option 2.
As a car enthusiast, option 1 isn't even an option.
However, I do need those buckets as they make the car. If it were my money, I would spend it on exactly the spec I want. This isn't a $25K civic, this is a $70K+ BMW. Option it exactly how you want it. Get the carbon pack, get the six speed, get the options that put a smile on your face and don't get a case of FOMO every time you see a nicely specced G87 and say "oh well, like I saved a few bucks over the span of my 6 year loan."

As the other poster said, unless there is a deal to be had; order exactly what you want.

At MSRP, I order cars exactly like I want them.

Ask for 10% discount for option #1 and now we are talking )

Both exterior colors are very nice. Don’t like the silver wheels but it looks ok with blue. Buckets and auto vs manual only you can answer.

Option 1. Silver wheels are awful, and for a daily driver I prefer an auto (I have a manual sports car for weekend fun). I prefer the sport seats over the carbon buckets because my legs don't fit in the buckets. Toronto Red is a great color, I get compliments on it all the time, and I'm not a red car person. Have only owned a couple red cars out of 43 (2 were my wife's).

Minority vote for #1 if the price difference is significant ($10k+). Its popular opinion that the auto/gearing fits this car better and Toronto Red is, imo, the nicest color BMW has offered on the G87. I have another manual car to scratch that itch though, so YMMV.

I hate waiting, but it would be option 2 for me. If I were ordering today that is the color I would go with.
