Tried searching forums for the answer as I'm sure this has been discussed already. I see pictures of new 2025 cars with red brakes but the BMW configuration website only shows blue brakes. I'm in the early stages of looking/deciding if the 240 is right for me so today I went and test drove a 2025 and asked the salesman about the brakes. He pulled up the public website that we use and he said it appears that red isn't an option. I thought that maybe they have access to more options than we do. So... what's the deal with the brakes color?

US standard brakes are blue. You can get red as part of a pack in the UK but don’t think the US has that pack.

Red and blue are both available in the U.S.
The bmwusa website has frequent errors and may not be displaying the red option for some reason, but they are available, and it’s a no-cost option.

Red is option in us. Site works. It is at the bottom of the options page.

You can use the build link below to see the Shadowline Package detailed in the summary. However, the site is not listing the package correctly/at all, but if you go to the dealership they will have it available to add from their Order Entry system.

Thanks, I really like the shadow line pkg and the red brakes! I saved my build. 60k flat!

Seems like the M240 part of the builder is always messed up in one way or another in the US and Canada. Doesn’t seem to happen to any other model.

Site now has the updated Shadowline package to add/remove from your build as you see fit.
