Alpha N Class 3 Front Lip/Splitter

Yesterday, I installed an Alpha N Class 3 Front Lip/Splitter on my M2. Love the way it looks, but unfortunately an installation guide was not provided. The install is relatively straightforward and everything lined up with the OEM bolt holes perfectly. So, for the most part, I was able to figure it out.

The quality is outstanding, and the fit is just about perfect. However, I had these 3 long socket head bolts and rivetnuts left over with no real clear indication of where these were to be installed. All of the bolt holes on the CF inner frame, CF lip, and slots in the "splitter" blade were occupied.

I reached out to IND and Alpha N. IND said they'd reach out to Alpha N, but really had no additional information to provide. Alpha N mentioned they did not have an English install guide, but had one in German. I replied asking for the German guide, and sent them the picture of the 3 leftover bolts.

This is their reply. "These brackets are not included in the installation instructions. As I said, we are still working on it.
These 3 screws were in the retaining strip on delivery.
This was also the correct position.
The carbon retaining strip must be fitted to the car. Then use these 3 screws (holes in the holder strip) to mark the aluminum strip on top of the vehicle. Then drill 3 holes and insert the 3 rivets supplied.
The 3 screws are for height adjustment and to take up the contact pressure when the sword is extended.
I hope that the explanation is sufficient."

I'm assuming he means the aluminum bar that runs across the bottom part of the bumper cover between the crash beams. #3 in the parts diagram attached. However all of the bolt holes in the carbon inner frame are occupied by OEM bolt and bolt directly into OEM bolt holes - so there are no extra bolt holes or anything for the 3 bolts included. Hence my confusion.

Has anyone here installed one of these and can provide some insight in where those 3 bolts are to be installed?

Here are some installation pics:

Alpha N sent some photos of the installation using those extra bolts. I didn’t get spacers, so I’ll have to fabricate something, but once I get the car taken back apart I can take some additional pics. This should help to stiffen the overall assembly.

Unless you're traveling at very high speeds on a regular basis (track, Autobahn), I wouldn't worry about drilling into that support bar & installing those bolts.

My Z06 has an extra support inside the front facia that the oem splitter bolts to (with 13 bolts/screws) because at sustained high speeds the front splitter will cause the front fascia to deform, but on the street, or even speeds < 150 or so, no real issues. I imagine it's the same with this splitter & the M2.
