Factory warranty with exhaust modification
I have the car under warranty, and tomorrow I'm going to BMW to fix some vibration issues I have inside the cabin (from what I've seen here, I'm not the only one). The thing is, I already changed the exhaust and the downpipe (using anti-failure sensors, I haven't touched the ECU). Will the warranty cover the vibration issue or not? What do you think? The exhaust has nothing to do with the problem I have...

Sure. They are LEIB OPF sensors. Not cheap but it should be good quality. No problems until this moment. You would need these two things:

It all comes down to the Magnuson-Moss warranty act. BMW cannot deny the warrenty unless they can prove that your modifications caused that problem. The easiest way to think of warranty stuff is this. If your headlight stops working they can’t blame it on your exhaust mods. And if they try to do this I would highly recommend finding another dealership and build a relationship with them!

Exactly...a rattling noise from the undercarriage, that's a different story. I took my G87 M2 in for it's run-in service with the Valvetronic valved sport exhaust system (catback) and they said nothing. I am now fully built custom Stage 2 tuned, trans tuned, downpipes, the exhaust, intake, colder plugs, aftermarket heat exchanger and oil and trans coolers and I would be very hesitant to take it to BMW for repairs (although I do have a connection so I could take it in if needed). |

I don’t know what I’ll do because, honestly, even if they take a look at it, I have little hope they’ll fix anything. I have the same problem many others have: excessive vibration from the right speaker when accelerating in sport mode WITH the iconic sounds activated. On the other hand, there are also some minor vibrations. |

Who thought it would be a good idea not allow the drive to turn off the fake sound without the need to close flaps...? |

Get bimmercode. Turn off iconic sounds (just the sound part, there's a thread about this) and then leave iconic sounds enabled in menu.
Dongle + app you are looking at about $85
